While searching for info on Liam Coen's hiring, I ran across this article about where current college head coaches were ten years ago. I found it borderline interesting and may help some people with arguments about coaching moves.

For the most part we have AAC officials.
03.19.18
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has partnered with the Atlantic Coast Conference on a football officiating alliance that will allow both leagues to work together on a wide range of officiating matters, including scheduling, training, development, recruitment, retention and evaluation.

The alliance, effective immediately, will be administered by Dennis Hennigan, the ACC’s Supervisor of Football Officials, who will manage the assignment, hiring and training of game officials. The American will name its own Supervisor of Football Officials, who will be responsible for the weekly evaluation of officials for the conference and will be the primary point person between the conference and its 12 head football coaches.

“We are excited to partner with the ACC regarding the administration of our football officiating program,” said American Athletic Conference Commissioner Mike Aresco. “This alliance will provide both conferences with a deep roster of the best college football officials and will provide for greater efficiency and consistency in the training and evaluation of officials as well as enhanced opportunities for the recruitment of officials. We look forward to working with Dennis Hennigan, who was regarded as one of the top on-field officials in college football and has since become a leader on the administrative side. I also want to thank Commissioner John Swofford for his cooperation in reaching this mutually beneficial arrangement”

This is an interesting article because of which school is NOT on the list- Alabama. Only 2 players from the Tide will be represented. Given how many 5 star players they get now, I expected this number to be much higher.
