State of the Progam
Re: State of the Progam
Unfortunately of the 4 goals, the most important for the future of the program is the one missing.
I guess it’s a good reminder to not expect much next season and hope 2021 is better.

UMass Football: 22-3 at home when I was a student.

An upper deck to the home side and closing in an end zone would get us there. My guess, if things go as planned, additional seats by 2025. Not the full 15k additional; that may be 2030.

Joe Moorhead out as head coach at Mississippi State. May be a good hire as an Offensively Coordinator.

I’m hitting 40 this year, can I count on this by my 60th birthday Steve?

I wonder how many of our DMV recruits will jump ship? This is NOT good news.Pete Thamel

Hate to see that happen. Hate it more that it's BC that he's going to.

Re: State of the Progam
There are a couple of DBs who didn't sign their LOI. He was lead recruiter for 2 from the DMV area. BC needs recruits, but not sure that they're at the level BC is looking for, but that doesn't mean they won't wind up elsewhere.
Re: State of the Progam
my stomach just sank; just when recruiting was picking up, we loose perhaps our best recruiter.
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

I'd have to imagine the money is much better.

To be a position coach instead of DC? Maybe this is connected to the ineptitude of our defense as well.....

Well I can't imagine him leaving for less money AND a drop in title.

Re: State of the Progam
Definitely money because he was the co-DC and made 125k; while Tommy Restivo the other co-DC makes 195k. A DB coach in the ACC easily makes over 200-300k. Not really sad to see him go...
