Might be a diamond in the rough, that's why the School of Mines and Bell are after him.

Isn’t that where Matt Patricia graduated from?

McPherson and West Liberty, whatever they are, are also after this guy. Honestly, are we seriously going after guys like this?

This type of recruiting suggests they are trying to find a diamond in the rough... and that's concerning to me.

Think we all have concerns, but given the number of scholarships to offer, have np with offer.

Maybe Bell doesn't like Massachusetts weather. If he plans on a few more years here, he better find a QB that is, at least, mid D1 level; and has the physical and mental attributes to play in whatever option he plans to run. No under 6' pocket passers, no guys that won't or can't run, no guys that can't take a hit and bounce back up ready to go. Rant over.

That’s right. I’m thinking of another Pats assistant. Felger used to rant about one of the coaches being from that school. Typical Felger douchebaggery.

I think it was Josh Boyer. Pretty sure he was the DB coach and left with Flores this past offseason... And yes, the only reason I know this is Felger spouting off about it nonstop when their secondary was so bad a few years ago.

Offering A QB whose other offers are from tiny D2 or NAIA schools is not the road to FBS success...

Brito was being recruited by those FBS powerhouses of Morgan State, Austin Peay, Western Illinois and Maine. Thank god Bell's crew was able to win that recruiting battle and upgrade the QB position last season (sarcasm).

Wow - seems like the 'close' rate for even FCS type talent is headed downward. JUCO's the only answer?

It also balances the qb room as he is a juco. They have the freshman from lawerence academy and are heavily recruiting another freshman qb from long island
