The article said that he had over 100 points for the year so that's a hell of a lot of PATs without a miss (55 minimum).
Cooper Garcia had 59 PATs per 247sports (Fight Massachusetts)
Kickers? There needs to be a tears of joy emoji
Raise the bar, do the minimum.

This recruiting year seems underwhelming. Hope some of those 2 stars turn out to be 4 star players.

Princeton killed it this year.

Joshua Jefferson, a center, said to be the second highest recruit ever signed.........they make you guess who was number one.......

Just a guess, but Lorenzo Woodley had a ton of P5 offers if i remember correctly. I hope Jefferson works out better than Woodley.

Posted this in the basketball forum. It should be sent to every recruit before he comes for a visit.

Solid program with a bunch of success. Six players headed to D1 and two more to 1AA.

Not sure if the kicking sites are considered official as far as rankings, but I think he's our first 5 start recruit.

They're not, he's rated as a 2-star when I submitted his film to 247. The kicking sites have their own criteria and their rankings aren't taken into account by the major services like 247 or Rivals when grading a player.

Mike, do kickers ever get rated higher than say 3 stars just because of the position? My gut tells me that to evaluate a kicker it's OK to go by kicking site ratings to judge how this kicker compares to other kickers.

They don't, the best kickers in the country are generally mid-level three star players on the major sites. Using sites like Sailer or Kohl's is a good way to judge kickers without a doubt. Those sites are dedicated to grading specialists, they just happen to utilize different criteria and ranking systems.

Is it safe to say that these three kids (kicker, punter and long snapper) are the type of players that typically are PWO at P5 schools that will work their way up in the program for a starting spot? Seems like these kids are much better than in years past because we spent a scholarship on them this recruiting cycle.
