The D has played pretty well... the offense missed out on converting about 20 points.. plus the fumble was a killer.

UM receivers also can't catch passes in contested areas.

Good news: we were competitive, overall defense played well, Ford had more than 360 yards, and they didn't quit.
Bad news: lost again, Temple is not a good team, Breneman hurt again, kicking game is a farce, Ford sacked 8 times for second straight week.

I guess they have a chance to beat Ohio at home before about 8,000 fans, depending on injuries coming out of Tennessee game.

I suppose, maybe we can call it "playing to keep the score respectable". But either way, disappointed that Whip didn't take a chance there. I imagine our chances of recovering would have been low, but would have put the offense in a much better position had we recovered than having the offense go 80 yards in under 30 seconds.
