It will be interesting to see how we do against a team that is closer to our skill level. I really want to see the offensive line do something this week. They need to get better.

I totally understand that the Florida and BC d-lines are insane, but I need to see the o-line do something against FIU.

Yes, this will be a real litmus test. Not just for the O-line but for the skill positions. Would like to see if they receivers can get open consistently and can the RBs make something out of nothing. Maryland was up 31-7 at the half and Indiana put together two 70+ yard drives in the fourth quarter against them.

If UMass can't move the ball against FIU it will be a very long Molnar-esque season.

Interested to see the student turnout for this one... Will be making the drive west +2 - Including fellow board member MV(P)Digga who makes it to every game from Martha's Vineyard (eat THAT people that complain about the commute).

Either way, I'm hoping the students haven't already bailed on the team after more or less wasting their Saturday this past weekend. Should be a fun one and pumped to head back to campus. I think Comis should be on a short leash. O-Line hasn't held up their part of the bargain but it's not like Comis has been putting the ball on the money when he's had time.

Maybe 2000 students were at the game in Gillette. Hopefully there is a push on campus by the players and coaches and staff to get students into the game. McGuirk student seating is 4250. My guess is there will be about 9000 tailgating, hopefully half make their way in. I wonder if a 3:30 start helps or hurts student turnout....

Line is being held up for whatever reason. I see the FIU QB was listed as probable so I don't think it's that. Vegas must be pulling their hair out trying to figure out these two behemoths.

There seemed to be that many at the spring game. Then they left when the game started.

If 9k students show up Saturday, I have no clue where they are going to go. The main purpose of the parking changes is to restrict students parking in the Purple Lot and ultimately curb drinking (a directive from those outside of the Department... shocking). If 9k students start flowing down from the dorms with nowhere to go pre-game, it's going to be chaos.

Someone's "0" was sticking on their keyboard. They meant 90 students.

That is what I am saying. I get that the parking rules are intended to curb this, but many students don't drive or park a car for tailgating. They walk down. 9K is less than half the undergrads. I predict that the lots will not be full of cars but people.

I would be shocked if there are 3000 students inside the stadium. If they choose to run the ball twice up the middle and then throw deep on third down in every series again, there won't be 500 left by the middle of the third quarter.

Depends whether or not the RB's are getting long gains and the WR's are making catches.

That's about what shows up and twice as many leave the tailgate.
