Brandon Smith has ALS
Re: Brandon Smith has ALS
Giving this thread a bump.
I went to an ALS charity walk this past Sunday down here in NJ and saw Brandon Smith and his family. Brandon was a fantastic player at UMass, most famously remembered for his game clinching interception at Montana in the NCAA Semifinal game.
Brandon and his family can use your help in his battle with ALS. If you've ever known someone with ALS you know the tremendous costs associated with caring for someone with the disease. Insurance does not cover a lot of things you need.
Any donation helps.
Here is a link to his GoFundMe page.

Looking forward to the 2022 UMass Football Season (Oh boy, just jinxed that one)
Re: Brandon Smith has ALS
Pretty cool story. Someone tweeted at Don Brown tonight asking him if he would come to New Jersey to surprise Brandon in June at an event to raise funds to help purchase a wheel chair accessible van for him. Coach Brown replied and said he will be there. Hell of a guy!
