Only player from the MAC invited to the NFL combine. No wonder they didn't want us in their conference any more!

Not exactly, they have the MAC and Mid American listed as two different conferences. Talk about respect from the NFL. Great that's what I need, another reason to watch the combine even though it's silly to watch the combine. I am so addicted to the NFL

Here is who is participating from both conferences. :D So he's one of 5

Sharpe, Tajae WR Massachusetts MAC

Beavers, Willie OT Western Michigan Mid-American

Frazier, Kavon FS Central Michigan Mid-American

Lewis, Roger WR Bowling Green Mid-American

Russell, Alonzo WR Toledo Mid-American

Willie Beavers gets my vote for the all-name team.

Some people are saying he moved himself into a second round pick after yesterday's performance.

Awesome. I wonder if the Pats would have a look at him? He'd look great catching balls from Tom Brady, and I think it would be great exposure for UMass football in New England.

When it comes to the NFL, look no further than the NY Football Giants for a team willing to give a Minuteman a chance.
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

Would LOVE to see him in a Patriots uniform and it could be a nice situation for him

I imagine the naysayers are thinking "Gee, if he had bigger hands then he'd have been able to catch it in stride."

From this list it don't look like the Pats have any interest in Tajae at least at this time.

Here are over a third of the Patriots’ formal interviewees and their projected draft round: Arkansas RB Alex Collins: Round 2 Indiana RB Jordan Howard: Round 2-3 Florida RB Kelvin Taylor: Round 4 South Carolina WR Pharoh Cooper: Round 2 Ohio State WR Jalin Marshall: Round 7 LSU OT Jerald Hawkins: Round 2-3 South Carolina OT Brandon Shell: Round 7 Georgia OLB/Edge Jordan Jenkins: Round 3 Boise State OLB/Edge Kamalei Correa: Round 3-4 Florida DE Jonathan Bullard: Round 1-2 Virginia Tech DE Dadi Nicolas: Round 5 Maryland DE Yannick Ngakoue: Round 6 Florida DE Alex McCallister: Round 7 Penn State DT Austin Johnson: Round 1-2 Illinois DT Jihad Ward: Round 4 Texas DT Hassan Ridgeway: Round 4-5 USC LB Su’a Cravens: Round 2 Mississippi LB C.J. Johnson: Undrafted Mississippi State CB Will Redmond: Round 2-3 Baylor CB Xavien Howard: Round 3 Georgia Tech CB D.J. White: Round 4 Samford CB James Bradberry: Round 5 Miami Safety Deon Bush: Round 7

The Pats are not going to take him in rounds 2 through 4. Beyond that, if he's available, who knows? But apparently he is not high on their draft board, which puzzles me. He'd fit in great with their system.
