We are so lucky to have him as part of our program. What a tremendous person.
I just want to echo others in saying that this is a very classy move by Tajae. In the age of 140 character "tweets," this young man seems to get it.

If you (or your family members) are reading this, thank you, Tajae, for your four years here. I wish you good health, luck, and success in all of your endeavors!

I work with guy who is on the Walter Camp Committee. I thanked him for honoring Tajae and asked him about the voting process. He said that the voting is done by coaches and SIDs. It's pretty remarkable for a player from a relatively unknown program to get this kind of national recognition and it's certainly well deserved.

Did Tajae not play in today's game? I watched most of it and didn't see him on the field once.
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

Started at the beginning of the game. Had UMass stickers all over his helmet. Made a nice tackle on special teams, but didn't play at all in the second half that I noticed. Wonder if he was injured...

Had the same thought but I don't think he was injured. Saw him smiling on the sideline in the second half. I think they just had a plan to keep him in for the first half, especially with the news that he got invited to the Senior Bowl.

The practices are more important than the game for the scouts.

I'm sure his agent wanted him out of the game as quickly as possible. No need to put him in harms way of getting hit by some DB trying to get on an NFL roster.

I watched the practice on ESPNU and it looked like he did something to his ankle or foot on an out pattern that was overthrown and he had to reach for it.

Didn't look too serious. Probably more precautionary.
