We are so lucky to have him as part of our program. What a tremendous person.

Best of luck to him in the pros. Would like to see him in a Pats uniform.

The letter from Tajae makes my 50 plus years as a UMass fan worth every minute! I have seen Dr. J dunk three!!!! balls on one jump during pregame . I have seen UMass win a National FCS in football , an NCAA hockey title, and reach a Final Four in bball. I have seen and read about the many league championships in multiple sports, many involving women's softball, soccer, field hockey, and lacrosse . I have seen some of the greatest men's and women's lacrosse ever played anywhere, ever! The letter from Mr. Tajae Sharpe makes me grateful for every second I have loved UMass and all it has given me, my family and my friends. Thank you UMass and thank you Tajae.

^ No. It was a D2 title prior to the dropping of the program and it's subsequent resurrection.

Great to see the accolades for Tajae, and I can't wait to see him making plays on Sundays next year. I believe it was during the Buffalo game when Rene was talking about Marquis Young and getting him more touches and Whip was telling Tajae they were going to try to run the ball more and Tajae said "coach, I don't care I just wanna win". Shows how selfless of a player he is and how great of a teammate he is, hope only good things in his future

I agree, a class exit. I agree also that his family, who I briefly met at Gillette at the Vandy game, are extremely classy.

My guess - he will be drafted, but later rounds, no reflection on him, but the program's lack of success.

^ My guess is that the NFL concentrates on their formulas (combine numbers, wunderlich tests, game footage, etc.), with some gut feeling added in, to determine if an individual is worthy of a look see. I don't think they care about win-loss records of the team they came from, except for any reckoning that the individual is the main reason for that record. If Tajae is deemed a better selection than a Clemson receiver, he will get picked ahead of him.

Outstanding. A credit to his family and the University.
