Earlier in the season the parking attendants were pretty strict about the three hours before game tailgating rules. It seems like for the Buffalo game some folks were set up at around 11:00 AM.

Does anyone know if the three hour before rule has been changed or are they just relaxing it a bit more now?

We went to the noon Army/Air Force game a few weeks ago and started our tailgate at 6:00 AM (they allow six hours before). So we'll get to Gillette as early as we can.
That struck me as kind of weird too. I remember at the Bowling Green game, parking attendants wouldn't even let us set up a tent to stand under while it rained (I'm still pissed). Our crew rolled in shortly before noon and it looked like there were many people already set up and well underway.

Same thing happened to me at the Bowling Green game. I'm going to attempt to get there earlier on Friday and see what happens.

One thing that immediately makes tailgating at Gillette more attractive to me at the moment....

Oy vey. God forbid, they let grown adults make their own decisions on tobacco use. Thank you nanny government. We are too stupid, we bow down to you!

Your choice to smoke inflicts it on people who choose not to inhale unwanted smoke.

Same can be said for a person's choice to fart, drive a diesel car, burp, use Axe body spray, etc.

^i hate it when people wear too much cologne/perfume...maybe the government can ban the use of those in public as well.

I'm a non-smoker here, but I can honestly say that not too many students on campus smoke - it's a relative non-issue for many and hasn't generated too much talk among students on campus. However, I can't comment on how that would play out during a tailgate.

I have a feeling that it won't be enforced during tailgating, but none the less it still sucks for me. And yes, I am being selfish here!

Yeah, I blame that Black guy in the White house. It's Obama's fault.

Only a fool would think that this isn't politically motivated. The government (Obama, Bush, and probably starting with Clinton) have been pressuring anti-smoking for years. It is what it is.

What's the pro-smoking argument?
