Dear UMass Gridiron Club Members,

We have set our Spring Game for Saturday, May 1 at 11 am. The University will allow a limited number of spectators to the practice at McGuirk Alumni Stadium, and we would like to invite you back to campus.

Each Gridiron Club member will be allowed to bring one guest with them. Please contact Warren Hayden ([email protected]) by Thursday, April 29 to attend the game. You will be sent two electronic tickets that will be scanned for entrance. These will also contain a seat location to ensure for social distancing. Spectators will not be permitted on the field or inside the Jacobson Performance Center. A face covering will also be required to enter the stadium. No food or drink will be sold at the practice.

If the practice is moved to the indoor facility because of inclement weather, we will not be able to have spectators join us. Please contact David Biancamano ([email protected]) with any questions regarding attending the spring game.

Also, UMass Gives is a slated for April 29-30. More info to come but please mark the calendar!

Thanks, and Go UMass!

Thank you for your response! You should receive your electronic tickets, along with download instructions and event information to this email address on Thursday, April 29th.

As of now, do we have a clear cut favorite to be the starting QB next season, or we'll rotate 4 guys throughout the season resulting in a shit show again?

Lytle will likely get the job... he's experienced. Olson should be the clear backup but I think he'll push Lytle when camp opens up. I doubt Bell goes with any sort of rotation this time around. At least I hope not.

I really believe Alex Miller will make a huge difference with the O line and running game. I actually feel feel somewhat positive about the coming season. I think Bell knows that he better listen to Alex...
