Stating the obvious, but...
This one should give a decent indication of just how far along the Ford way of doing things is progressing...Davidson is a decent team (I think they're 8pt favs tonite?) but this is nevertheless a game that a, not- yet- great, but solid, major conf. team (and UMass, and the A-10, are still major, as opposed to mid-major) should win, or at the very least, perform solidly in.

No. That was produced by people at UM, so that won't apply to any games outside the Bill. The only equivalent would be if Davidson offered a similar feature.Umass_Minuteman wrote:Is there any way that "Watch Game Live" link might suddenly appear on the Umass athletics website like it did against Hartford. I have nothing against B.B but I like to watch rather than listen .

What about Greg Landry?Old Cage wrote:I'm sorry to hijack this thread for a bit, but Chizzle NEEDS to know about Milt Morin:
Best football player in our history, three time All-American, Cleveland Browns, pro bowls, national collegiate heavyweight wrestling champ, and lax team member.
Milt attended St. Bernard's in Fitchburg but is from Leominster.

I loved Landry.
"Landry's quarterback efficiency rating of 145.4 in 1965 is still the school record. He also holds both the game (.800) and seasons (.623) marks for highest completion percentage."
He was throwing to two UMass HOF guys - Morin and Bob Meers.
Morin played both ways and just crunched people. I watched him first in a freshman game - frosh could not play varsity. He kept making tackles of runners in the backfield and sacking the qb. I never saw anyone at any level have a better day.
Here endeth the hijacking.
