Hey Insider,

What the hell are you talking about? The selection board? We all are aware that the AD and Chancellor are the only ones making this decision.

No offense but trusting anyone on this board is absurd.

Perhaps we should look at the Jimmy Christian thread for our discussion now.

Doherty is no longer a candidate for this position now and Jimmy Christian is the new leader.

Anyones thoughts would be appreciated on the new thread.

Can we hold off on making these kinds of statements until facts are established?

By reading this board it would amaze me that any coach would want to be a part of this program with moronic fans making comments, accusations and blind assumptions.

Right now all we have as concrete evidence is the story on WGGB website that says DOHERTY TO BE NAMED UMASS COACH. We have one poster who claims he heard WGGB say Doherty NOT a candidate but and advisor. Do we have someone that can watch the 11PM newscast on Ch 40? Should be on right after they do the report on pork belly and soy bean futures. If they are going to wait to interview Pearl we are looking at another full week of speculation and with the Indiana job apparently opening up we could see a whirlwind of musical chair moves. If the news on Doherty being removed as a candidate is true I will throw my support behind Mr Barbee. At this point I am more confused than Ted Kennedy is after last call in Hyannis.

It pains me, I mean, the eyes sting and the mind rebels, when watching a Channel 40 newscast. But I'll go take some Dramamine and see what they bother to tell us in the way of further disinformation. With any luck, I won't have to see Mark Hyman's Bush-butt-kissing puss, and Scott Coen or whoever does the weekend stuff will say something like "We regret that we could not confirm the original story given to us by a Mr. Brian Long. Never mind."

No, Mike Jarvis will emerge as a candidate. Seriously. He's right. He gets inside information.

A really reliable source confirmed that "it won't be Doherty."

What are the chances that Moore gets an interview now that his season is over?
