Now that we have a better idea of who's in the running, let's try it again with the candidates from the DHG story. Enjoy.

Tom Moore can recruit, has head coaching experience, has been a part of an ncaa chump, and seems like the candidate to build a long term program. He is clearly the crowd favorite. Hire him, I'm sooo fired up. Hire Tony, Bobby, or Wolfy, and things are still on the upswing.

Hey MM - how come there isn't a Lappas option for Oxva Popsva?
Retarded artistically. Idiotic in other respects.

My vote is for Pearl who seems to have everything we would want in a coach. Unfortunately the poll never comes up on my computer so I can't vote. Say no to Doherty!!

My List:

Tom Moore
Tom Moore
Tom Moore
Bruce Pearl
Mike Hopkins

The "Anti list":
The "I won't buy a single ticket next season" list:

Matt Doherty
Steve Lavin
Pete Gillen
and Gonzo (I know some people like him, but I think he's a shady character)

I'm still sticking with Moore, but I like what I've seen from Pearl.

Moore
Pearl
Barbee

Just read in a sidebar by Matt Eagan in the Hartford Currant that Moore may not get an interview because he has no Div. 1 head coaching experience.
Sorry, I couldn't find a link.

Well that reason would be crap...because they interviewed Barbee and he has even less head coaching experience.

I certainly hope they don't just bypass this guy without even doing an interview.....that would be a HUGE mistake.

I am losing confidence in this committee by the day. The fact that they have not contacted Moore or Gonzo yet is a big mistake.
I used to bench 225 for sets. Now all I do is Ralph Cross!

You forgot Jim Christian from Kent State, who CBS Sportsline reported was a finalist.

I voted for Moore again, but Bruce Pearl is gaining momentum. If they thump BC, he's our guy!

If that is true, then John M. is a jackass!!!! If we end up with Doherty or Lavin, then I'm going to retire from supporting UMass. Can't take another four years of Lappas like misery, just can't!
