A lot of things shocked me today and Dibaji suiting up has to be near the top. He didn't suit up because he thought he would get a few minutes in a blowout win. He suited up because he thought we might need him. I would call that dedication. Congrats, Dibaji.

Just catching up on what's being said, and like many posters I was hoping the first half wasn't a total fluke and this wouldn't be one of those games where the lead gets squandered. Carl took care of that. 3 3s in the first minute of the second half, and that was it.
Dibaji played! No wrap on his wrist or anything. Need some size vs SLU. I don't suppose he's completely ready, but great to see him there.
As often, the announcers covered the Woodstock connection, and it was nice to hear them list Preston as one of the fine players UMass has from there.

Huh? Weeks was with TB and everyone else at Woodstock...and if you haven't heard...his father was a pretty good player for Umass in their glory days...he isn't going anywhere.

There’s been some grumbling about TJ leaving over on the FightMassachusetts board based on a tweet his mom posted following the St Louis loss

I don't know how big of a fan TJ's mom is of McCall. I posted something on Twitter about how dumb the full court press all game was against South Carolina (last season) I think and said McCall lost the game for us and she liked it. I know that's stupid unscientific reasoning but I'm going with it :D

Well played today boys. 40% from 3 and 55% from the floor is a winning combo.

If theres people talking about TJ possibly moving on, I highly doubt his brother would come here then. TJ keeps lighting it up like he did today, its hard to keep him off the floor

Read a quote from TJ's brother that he was hoping to play at an Ivy League school.

UMass starters shot 69 percent from the door today.
We did make quite a few 3's from just inside the door.

The 34 point difference was the largest in A10 tournament history.

I think it is very cool that sports fans all over the country - many of which still think of UMass as a "basketball school" even though it has been 25 years - are turning on one of the multiple ESPN or other sports channels and seeing "UMass 100" scrolling across their screen all late afternoon and night.
"Jack didn’t have any envy in him," Calipari said. "He was the greatest coach to ever coach here."
