Season Tickets for the 2020-21 season
Season Tickets for the 2020-21 season
I'm planning to call the office on Monday to find out what's happening and I'll post what I'm told, but I thought I'd check here first to see if any of you have info.

They won't know about season tickets until they know about the season (full, shortened, fans, no fans, some fans, etc.). Was told that this past Tuesday by the Department.

I don’t think you’ll get much information from the office. I’m sure, however, they will be more than happy to take some kind of voluntary deposit on season tickets.

Thanks, guys..
I agree with both of you; not much to do until the details of how the season will go are confirmed and zi'm sure they'd happily take a deposit for anyall of us.
That said, it's disappointing to me that they wouldn't take the time to email season ticket holders to provide an update.

For half the cost of a season ticket you can have a cardboard likeness placed in your seat.

Is the popcorn still as salty if eaten by your cardboard likeness?

I called the ticket office only to find out that it's closed until further notice. They left [email protected] on the outgoing message. I sent an email asking for an update, given that I saw that hoops is clear to start on 11/25. I'll let you know what they tell me.

Re: Season Tickets for the 2020-21 season
With today's announcement, the next step is to see if any of games that were scheduled prior to the 25th can be rescheduled, and if not trying to fill any voids, if possible.
With that said, I'd imagine we'll be getting calls soon enough about deposits, at least.

Re: Season Tickets for the 2020-21 season
I kind of doubt fans will be in attendance...However, with the assumption in person attendance will be allowed, would think social distancing will be a factor in seat availability. Perhaps student and non season ticket holder seats won't be allocated until season ticket holder seats are paid for and assigned with social distancing in mind. Then any remaining seats ( fewer than usual with social distancing factored in ) can be allocated/sold.
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

This will be guided by the state restrictions. As of right now, there are no fans allowed for stadium/arena sporting events in Massachusetts.

Re: Season Tickets for the 2020-21 season
The topic came up during breakfast today, pre virtual school. My granddaughter, who I've been taking to games since 2011 when she was one-moth old, asked about going this year.
Sucks that attending games is not an option this season, given how much we' love going to them. Too bad a social distancing attendance plan hasn't been created.
Even sadder, from my perspective, is that my 32 year consecutive season ticket streak has come to an end...due to circumstances beyond my control.

No it hasn't. You're still a season ticket holder and your tickets and current standing will be honored for the following season. Sure, this might end a streak of being able to attend games, but you're still a season ticket holder.

Thanks for your support guys. Can you tell I’m jonesing for UMass basketball? They should be good this year, too...at least better than they were last year.
My kids were 9 and 7 in 87/88. This year my grandchildren are 9 and very soon to be 7.
If any venues do allow fans, it’d be nice if we were offered the opportunity to buy tickets.
