Oh shit, were we talking about Dyondre? My bad, I thought this was about RJ. My stance is good riddance to RJ, screw him. But I really like Dyondre, think he's getting some terrible advice, and would love to see him come to his senses and return to UMass (which I don't think will happen).
Eh, now I think I goofed up who we were talking about. I can't keep track LOL

It was about Luis.. you don't need to be a hedge fund guy to raise the kind of money DD will get.. maybe a corner hotdog stand guy.. not a hedge fund guy

Why is he no longer here?
Lil pup was a bit too cold.
I am so glad we got Josh Cohen, a guy from the Northeast who believes in the Frank Martin vision and isn't afraid to put on a coat and mittens. I'm so sick of hearing how hard it is to be in Amherst when it gets cold outside. How many college basketball programs are in cold weather climates? Good riddance to that guy.
To your point, Storrs isn’t in South Beach.

Have they ever heard of Gonzaga? I hear it gets pretty cold there. Cold is no excuse, but it works for some.

RJ did not leave because of weather. In this NIL environment kids are committed until the next phone call. RJ planned to return when he signed with our collective. The change of mind is related to either a specific offer or one of these “agents” who convinced him he can get paid much more.

Nothing specific, but between Frank's tweet and this tweet, we may know a lot more about the roster next week.

Big weekend for UMass Hoops to win the off-season. Frank zoom call with @TheMassCo earlier this week, he mentioned a few recruits the staff is high are visiting campus. A10 off-season title still in our grasp

I don't know how a great DIII player would translate to DI, but he might be worth looking at. A true 4 man at 6'8, 230 and he was DIII player of the year.

A lot of NESCAC athletes are D1 level and were also recruited by D1 schools. A family friend was a head coach at a NESCAC school and he was recruiting against IVY/Patriot and other schools for the same players. They basically get full ride financial aid support packages to attend unless their parents are super rich.
