No game for the last month plus has really meant anything. There was a scuffle at the end of the previous game, this is the last home game of the season, AND it's freaking Rhode Island. If you can't get up for this game then feel free to put your name in the transfer portal at the end of the year.

It's senior night and this game has no meaning for us as far as seedings are concerned (8 or 9 is the same). The important game for us is the VCU @ Davidson game. We play the loser no matter what we do on Saturday. Go Davidson!!!

Can MM get them up for this game? The best incentives I can think of are:
1. Ruin URI's faint chances for the NCAA tournament
2. Get to .500 in conference, which hasn't happened since 2014-2015.
One correction, a #4 seed gets them UMass in the semis!!!

They want a good crowd, make it $2 beer night. Get the place juiced up and loud. There will be a good Rhody crowd I'm sure so we need to fill the place up. Should be a great college basketball atmosphere

You'll be face down somewhere in a gutter well before 7 with that 1pm start of alcohol ingestion

It's a marathon, not a sprint. Consider it like a tailgate!

Does anyone think this game won't be a challenge, seriously?

I predict URI will be a 4-point favorite.

I would be stunned if it is that low... Closer to 10, I will settle on URI +8.

Yes 8 or 9 point dogs sounds about right. Maybe I should plan to lose another fitty like I did on the VCU game!

^ I expect URI to do much better than VCU did... but I'd anticipate the line closer to URI +6.

Go big eldon, make it 2 fitty. This game could be tough on Tre if Djery is out. We have to rebound well in this or we could get smoked. But I like the Minutemen in a close one

I like that we haven't predictably faded late in games recently.
