Due to a small cluster of recent COVID-19 cases that led to quarantining athletes on five varsity teams, Northeastern has canceled games and practices for all winter sports through Dec. 18.

We don't have any games between 12/9 and 12/30 so there is room to reschedule this game. This season is a real trainwreck so far.

120 games on tap tomorrow. Wish we were playing in one of them. Or two of them even - UMass Lowell is scheduled to play both San Francisco and Towson at 2:00 at Mohegan Sun. This season is going to make the TV schedulers crazy.

GW, URI, Davidson, VCU and St. Louis will be playing (maybe).

By the time we play LaSalle on the 9th, they will have already played four games.

Bamford should have some experience with rescheduling on the fly by now, considering how football has gone and with hockey last weekend.

I gotta think there is no shortage of teams in the New England/Tri-State area that would be willing to play, I think it's a matter of staying out of quarantine to be able to play. You could have one guy test positive today and another could test positive the day you come out of the previous quarantine. Sucks considering the high expectations around the team.

Doesn't look like we've heard from OFFseason in a while..... I wonder what his take is on the situation. We haven't heard much from inside the program on how the team is looking compared to the hype.

St Joe’s was set to play Seton Hall and Pitino came in and essentially stole the game from St Joe’s, and now Iona is playing Seton Hall Monday night. That just came together on Saturday. So I’m hoping Bamford can get something going and we can have a game as early as this upcoming week. Unless we’re back in quarantine... Rothstein added UMass back to the “programs on pause” list after he had taken them off at the start of the weekend. Hopefully he’s just wrong and doesn’t know something we don’t....
