I was pleased with the modifications in the press against Yale. Specifically, they used a man-to-man full court press some of the time that didn't result in opponents left alone under the basket. I don't think the press was a factor in our loss.

With only eight scholarship players available tonight I gotta think that CJ will get some time. I wouldn't be surprised to see Randall West out there for a few minutes, as well.

Really hoping CJ does well. He seems like a good kid and selfishly, we can use the help.

I drafted this days ago and never finished. Not complete, but not gonna scrap it entirely.

Checked back on the America East pre-season predictions, and Maine was a distant 8th out of 9 in the AE. However, senior forward Andrew Fleming was picked to the AE pre-season team.

Fleming is currently 4th in the AE in scoring, at 17.6 ppg. He's their 2nd leading rebounder at 6.2.
Sergio El Darwich gives them 11.1 and 5.6
Nedeljko Prijovic adds 8.3 and 6.8 (leads team)
Swedish Lightning Vilgot Larsson adds 8.3 and 3.7
Mykhailo Yagodin rounds out the top 5 with 6.3 and 2.4
After that the scoring really drops off.

Too much negative distraction lately so I see this group of guys who are bought in come out and play well and win by 20+. Head out for Christmas on a good positive note. Big games from Tre, Sean East, and Keon. CJ gets his most extended time and shows his promise. Team gets its swagger back. Merry Christmas!

Some big rebounding stats there.

They have size, but how good can they actually be looking at their performance so far. Their starters are:
Fleming - 6'7, 222
El Darwich - 6'4
Prijovic - 6'8
Larsson - 6'8
Yagodin - 6'5

I dub them the United Nations Team: Ukraine, Serbia, Sweden, Lebanon

Fleming is from Maine, but he's from Norway, ME.

they're big, but Djery may be bigger and lately has been playing like it. perhaps a good chance to try playing him and Tre together. Assuming TJ is still out, Carl becomes the key guy, and if he shoots well we're fine.

I don't think we need Carl to do anything special to win this game.
