I'm curious how they decide the order in which they review the waivers. Is it done in the order that they receive the waiver application? It seems incredibly unfair that some decisions were made months ago while others have to wait until the season is half over (or worse). Also, does anybody know how many kids nationwide are still waiting for a decision?

This is Dibaji's mom. I'm assuming she knows what he wants and it seems he wants to play. If it drags out well into January, that decision becomes much tougher.

The lack of accountability is astounding. Seems to be our new thing in the good old USA.

I have to think now that the semester is over we'll hear something soon. Pretty crazy it takes so long. Last night would have been a perfect game to work him in the lineup

Things like this are why the NCAA as we know it will be defunct within 10 years. Totally arbitrary, virtually non transparent and frankly at least intellectually corrupt. They're messing with huge $$$ and that won't stand.

Why is the semester relevant?

hate to be debbie downer but why are we so excited about this guy? averaged 4 pts a game at a Horizon league team that revolted against its coach...

we've seen how well other mccall transfers have worked:

Probably isn't but if they're going to take any more time the season for him would be essentially over anyway I would think

6-9 guy, we could use the size, plus he was a Woodstock kid so I would guess TB knows him pretty good and so far all his guys have been pretty solid. Sounds like a good fit

6-9 who can shoot lights out from 3 and can play in the post and dribble well. His average is deceptive as he had a few games where he got 1 or 2 minutes and didn’t score. Also Cleveland state had a few go to scorers who carried the load

^He shot 42% from the floor, 33% from 3 pointers and less than 60% on Free Throws...which of those are you using as your basis of “lights out shooter”? Regarding your statement regarding limited playing time, he was playing for a coach fighting for his job and the coach would play the players he felt could produce and save his job...so the limited minutes means he didn’t meet that criteria...regarding his height, he was listed at 6-7 at CSU.
I think there are people posting here who have greatly over exaggerated his ability and the impact he will have on this team. Hope I am wrong, but I have seen nothing factual that leads me to think otherwise, just misinformation and speculation passed off as fact..

I think at this point due to attrition he would be a benefit to the team. Hope he gets cleared and asap, and plays. The truth is we need him and hopefully he can compliment and contribute right away.

I talked to Tony at a Court Club event a day or two before Dibaji committed. He said we were going to get a kid who might be good enough to be a starter day 1. That's all I have to go on, never having seen him play. I hope gets cleared and then we'll find out. Everyone knew about Tre, but how many of us knew how good TJ would be? So far, I trust Tony's judgement.
