Throw back gear

Post by BTHoops » Fri Aug 02, 2019 11:08 am

Hey, all. I know there has always been talk about the lack of great UMass basketball gear available for sale, but earlier today on Twitter I saw that @19nine_threads just released a new throw back UMass t-shirt and 1996 game shorts. Very cool stuff from a fun era of UMass Basketball. Memories and friendships along the way that I'll never forget and cherish.

I also see the UMass hoops gear for sale on their site at https://19nine.com/collections/universi ... sachusetts. I suspect some folks may be spending some money. Haha. Hope everyone is well.

Uh, there are only 2 items to choose from. Go on Ebay or Etsy and you'll see a lot more items to choose from for UMass apparel.

Based on tweets from Alan, it looks like this was done in conjunction with the Department. It may only be two pieces, but they look pretty good, especially the shorts.

Won't be the last options for throwback gear, all of it licensed through the department. Keep an eye out mid-August

50 I believe. Now if you asked me for Scott drapeau’s # I would have drawn a blank.

LS - You and I and Swampy should have a pre-game tag sale at The Bill. Is a 1958 t-shirt far enough back?
