Saw his Q&A the other day. He may be a real deal steal. Seems like a level headed, intelligent kid, and wants to be a Minuteman.

I love all the optimism for the coming season, and we all hope this ship turns around...but how does one read a Q&A with an incoming freshman and conclude he could be a real steal? We all hope your right, but... :D :D :D

The decision to wait was based on trying to let the fracture heal on it's own which would have been a quicker timeline than if they had surgery immediately, which in retrospect would have been a quicker timeline than waiting 2 weeks to have surgery. They took a chance and lost 2 weeks because of it - it is what it is. PG remains incredibly thin with really only Sean East as our natural PG and Keon pitching in while East catches his breath. There is no doubt the offense runs different when East and Keon are out there - hoping for an expeditious recovery for Kolten.

He got hurt on 11/5, which was 5 weeks ago. I believe the expected recovery time was 6 weeks, but these things tend to go longer than expected. Hopefully his hand or wrist (not sure what he hurt exactly) is recovering well and he starts to get some reps in practice soon. Does anyone know if his injury was to his shooting or non-shooting hand?

I thought I read that it was his left hand. Seeing Gordon Hayward back on the court last night made me wonder about Mitchell’s condition.

Gotta start counting from the surgery, which was 2 weeks after the injury.

Didn't he get a few minutes a couple games back? Like right after surgery? I saw him in a box score, unless I'm mistaken.

He did appear in the Box score but it was an error.

I thought it must have been. Stats online still showed it last I saw though. Very strange but zi do see errors made in real time stats during games. Last game they had Higgenbottom listed as on court when he wasn't but fixed it quickly.

^ Yeah, they quickly misread a uniform number and it gets inserted. The final game stats, however, should not have this kind of error.
