I was listening to A-10 scores on the way home and was surprised to learn that Jameer Nelson, Jr. is on GW.

^ Believe he was heading to St Joes until they canned Martelli

St. Louis 89-FGCU 67; think I heard this is the highest score ever for a Travis Ford team in St. Louis.
That's what a decade in the mid-west will do for you. That was kind of an average score when Ford coach UMass.

Very good night for the Atlantic 10 tonight . VCU beat 23-ranked LSU. St. Joe's beat UConn in a road game :D and Mason and Fordham also won. St. Louis up 20 with 2 minutes to go, so chalk that one up too. Only loss was La Salle to Penn.

Following a bad night Tuesday where Bona fell to 0-3 and Davidson to 0-2. Those 2 were supposed to be among the better A-10 teams, particularly Davidson but so far both these teams are struggling. GW also lost to American, which is hardly a powerhouse. Only Duquesne and UMass won, and only UMass looked good.

A happy 2 days of BB. UConn losing to SJU in Storrs is remarkable. UConn was a 13 or 14 point favorite. Nice win for VCU, but we all know what a tough place that is to get a road win.

Let's not forget who is coaching Connecticut as we savor that victory. I see where saint Louis beat ewu. All I could think of was Eastern Western University.

Watched a bit of that Fordham game when I saw it was close. They are sooo bad. Just terrible basketball between them and FDU.

Was a little harder to hate them when Ollie was their coach, poor guy. Now it's easy again.

Top half of the A10 needs to easily beat the worst team in the SEC at home. Really shouldn't have been that close.

Dayton is playing Georgia right now in the Maui invitational. Obi Toppin of Dayton will be the A10 player of the year and is putting on a show, has 14 points in first 6 minutes.

have to agree with you that Toppin must be favored to be POY in the A-10. Dayton blew out Georgia today, reminding me of what at the time seemed to me the best win of Coach McCall's (then short) time at UMass. I think Dayton's win put the A-10 at 4-3 vs. the SEC. I know of 2 upcoming A-10 vs. SEC games: South Carolina gets GW at home and then UMass in Amherst. So that last one probably decides which conference has the winning record these end of 2019 games.
