yet another confirmation of the rule for NCAA waiver on eligibility comes in this article about our next opponent.
https://www.stltoday.com/sports/college ... 5253f.html

Off topic, but noteworthy that SLU's freshman Jimerson was by far their best shooter: 43% on 3s and 86% on FTs. SLU has a glaring weakness in FTs, with their 2 leading players (Goodwin and French) shooting 52 and 35%. If they get in 1-and-1, foul them!

Just showing off my twitter skills
I'm still trying to improve my Telex skills. :(
Telex? Is that something new?
from the folks at WIKIPEDIA
The telex network was a customer-to-customer switched network of teleprinters similar to a telephone network, using telegraph-grade connecting circuits for two-way text-based messages. Telex was a major method of sending written messages electronically between businesses in the post-World War II period. Its usage went into decline as the fax machine grew in popularity in the 1980s.
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

Crohn's?? Hopefully not but what else takes this long
I was wondering that kind of thing myself, some kind of intestinal ailment or something. I have a good friend who had one of those type of things and it took a long time to get under control.

Lets hope TJ gets well soon, basketball aside, and gets healthy. Great kid and family

Sure, that's good info, but what in the heck is a "fax machine"?

^ I found a picture of a fax machine in our office equipment catalog. I copied it on our office copier and am headed out to the post office later today and will send the copy to you.

Not sure how accurate they are, but TV announcers said T.J. has a sports hernia.

No idea where they got that from. I think that's been ruled out when we heard repeatedly that it's not a basketball related injury.

Who were the tv announcers? I'm extremely cautious when hearing breaking news from people that have contact with the team one or two days a year.

Guys named the Kaplan and Harris. Apparently one of them had done some coaching but I don't know which.

Dave Kaplan. He’s a Chicago based talking radio head. Knows hoops. The board must have been happy as he had a complete man crush on the coach and how he’s building the program c

They also said "both teams are looking to avoid starting their conference seasons 0-2"...so I doubt they have any inside information. It was probably all just an assumption on their part. "Oh he leads the team in scoring? Best player" "Oh he's out with an abdominal issue? Sports hernia".

That's what I was thinking. National announcers rarely know anything about team specifics other than what the press release says and their brief media session with the coach pregame. Now, it may be a hernia, but I'm not trusting the NBC announcers to know before Walfish, Touri, or the super sleuths out there in the fan base.

Come on, Juice! You got Walker onto the team. You gotta get Weeks back too.
