Not for nothing, but a mere 6 weeks ago - there were a lot of pitch forks appearing. Open discussions of Bergeron taking over (with many supporting and endorsing that fantasy move).... "McCall sucks", "McCall is clueless", we will be lucky to come in 14th... etc....

There were a few however who never even approached the ledge - Joleon among them. I suppose one could argue it is a douche move to call people how who have clearly flip-flopped in 6 weeks; but, taking that position would also be quite hypocritical when he (among others) took a lot of shit for supporting the current HC.

The be kind - 78 has been skeptical of MM for a lot longer than just 6 weeks ago. To be a little more clear [and less kind], 78 did not like MM almost at all and was openly wondering where we go next before the season already started. Yes he reserves the right to change his mind, but as noted "100% done" I guess is not really 100% done???? Pointing that actual fact out does not make anyone (Joleon) a dick.

I find this whole fandom thing quite fascinating - one person changing his tune to that extreme in just 5-6 weeks, is one of many interesting pullbacks that many of you regularly perform here on Umasshoops.wiki.

If there were many pitchforks, why single out only one? It is ok to change ones mind whether holding a drastic stance(78) or a worried one.

It was pointed out to try and get a response, a typical approach from certain individuals on here. I’m not trying to be a White Knight or super hero, but I easily could see the intentions of the post.

It also seems that “100% done” has more flexibility than the statement of CJ being a D3, at best, player.

Really????

100% anything is a pretty absolute statement there hoss.... My assessment of CJ was purely my own opinion which leaves lots and lots of room for flexibility. I even upgraded him to a D3 starter any maybe a D2 contributor - at best. You know, In My Opinion  .....

While I agree that everyone is entitled to change their mind, that does not relieve you of scrutiny for past opinions or actions. Clearly you have never been married

Who are we kidding? No one here is ever 100% with UMass. Except for maybe Skip Connors.

I've been trying to check in on those guys from time to time, and I've got to be honest. I have completely forgotten about Baldwin when doing so.

I think Texas Southern has forgotten about him too.

I really liked that kid. He had flashes of stardom, but he was wildly inconsistent. He reminded me of Ajmal Basit without the ego.
