I would be more interested in assists for Mister East.

there seemed to be the least amount of buzz about CJ Jackson coming in, but he looks to be hitting 3s at a high rate. Small sample size, I know, but he looks to be a fluid guard with good length, and a knockdown shooter to boot? "intriguing"
I'd disagree. Unless I'm reading the room wrong. I think Sean East has had the least amount of buzz. Judging by the box score, he might be last on the Frosh depth chart at this point playing 30+ min a game and only scoring 7ish points. I'm not reading much into the points, but if you're playing 30+ minutes it's telling. Mitchell got out in 13 in one game.
I think East was better known than Jackson as his team won the Indiana high school championship. He was teammates with Romeo Langford, now with the Celtics and I believe he was the 2nd best player on the team. As for the VI trip, he scored 10, 7 and 7 and he had 5 assists in each game. He had 4 total turnovers in the 2 box scores I saw. Assuming he had the same rate (2 turnovers) in the other game, 15-6 A/TO ratio is not bad. Of course, the opposition was awful, but everyone's stats were against the same teams.

As it should. I'm still chuckling at it all as well.
