Virgin Islands, August 2019, exhibition trip

^ Am I missing something?
Re: Virgin Islands, August 2019, exhibition trip
After seeing the roll out of their new “brand identity” (???!!!), I walk back from my previous comments about communications being stretched thin. They obviously have the time to get the word out.
As a side note, this whole #TheFlagshipIs thing is just waiting to be abused. Will we get a #TheFlagshipIsTerrible hashtag trending during basketball season? Or how about #TheFlagshipIsSinking during football season?

Ugh. I may have given people an idea. Apologies.
Re: Virgin Islands, August 2019, exhibition trip
Per Walfish: No audio or video for the trip. Umass will play two national teams in the US and British Virgin Islands.
Re: Virgin Islands, August 2019, exhibition trip
I wasn't expecting video. Box scores would be nice.

I was hoping there would be some sort of rudimentary live stream through the athletics site. Either way it's not the end of the world. And it might be for the best.

Per the Walfish tweets, I added the info to the Schedule.

^ The University of Calgary game is August 22, 3:00 PM MT (5:00 ET).
A note- The Dinos are also playing Youngstown State twice while in the USVI and both of those games show an audio component from Youngstown.

^ Good catch. I went to their site to capture the URL, but didn't think to look at their schedule.
And Youngstown State beats us on streaming audio. Sigh.

Since we have no "electronic" means of following the team I hope that anyone in the media that covers the team gives us as much detail as possible. We're all starved for real information as opposed to rumor, opinion, speculation, etc. that goes on during the off season. Box scores would be great. If they aren't allowed or available, how about letting us know who played the most, what positions they played and the usual info on how they looked.
Thanking you in advance.

^ That's the thing, sounds like we're not going to have anyone there but the team & coaches. The media relations role is currently vacant, Walfish isn't going to report, and sounds like Burnham isn't going to broadcast/stream. Big void.
By contrast, in the Bahamas 2006 trip, all three of those roles made the trip.

If you all want to pitch in I’d tough it out and head to the Virgin Islands to report back. Besides the boring stuff that 69 wants, I could tell you the best beaches, how many minutes I got in at each one, where the slam dunk drinks are, etc. etc.
