also if you saw that play, Pierre broke for the corner before Clergot or whoever was inbounding the ball had the ball in his hands...the ref was still holding it so why Pierre broke so soon is the question...once he did that the play that was drawn up was over.
Great coaching!

Well that was the game which exemplified the season. Now on to following more successful teams, i.e. softball, and men's and women's lacrosse.
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

Being honest, I am glad the season is over. It was an absolute embarrassment and McCall has 12 months to earn his money and keep his job. GW is an awful team and UMass lost to them twice this year. Pretty much sums things up. Wonder how soon before the revolving door starts?

Once again, Amin Touri at the Collegian has a great article on the game/season. Touri has been excellent all season and I hope we get more from him next year. I believe he's a junior and has just been named editor-in-chief for the paper.

Well I won't rehash all the frustrating observations, just suffice to say this game was a microcosm of our season.

I'm not going to engage in any Fire MM speculation over the offseason, it's pointless, as 78 said he has 12 months to right the ship. Hopefully that starts with some standout recruits (Tre Tre Tre), a good core of returning players and improvements to the coaching approach and staff.

This story is still being written... heartbreak or triumph to come next year?

The worst most depressing season in over 30 years.

The best thing about today's game is that the season has mercifully come to an end. Now we're onto seeing who is coming and who is going. The next few weeks will be far more interesting than the season was.

How do we call timeout in a tie game with 6.5 seconds left (after inbounding with near 11 seconds left) and then come out of the timeout with 0 passes and a 30 foot fadeaway 3?

From the coaching on down this season, the performances were pitiful and embarrassing.

I sincerely hope the program can at least look functional next year. If it still looks like this 12 months from now it is hard to picture how McCall would keep his position. Bamford should be on thin ice as well.
Totally agree. Bamford definitely has to take some credit for this.
