Such good performances from a variety of guys tonight, including Pip finding his teammates in good position. So happy to that RH's final home game has been this good. Maybe the best game of his UMass career? 26 pts, 12 reb, and only 1 foul with 1:40 to play.

Both great and torturous to watch tonight. Pipkins and Holloway played just great. And the whole team came together. Ah, if only....

Great job by Holloway tonight. Also thought Chatman and Unique contributed nicely. UMass dominated the boards.

great game by Rashaan. Great to see tha! Chatman looked improved tonight. Pipkins didn't look good in the first half but really came on and sealed the win late. Pierre only 2 of 10 but that didn't seem to matter (he was the only guy with 0 turnovers and continues to play good defense). McLean played well. Laurent played very well. Coach McCall finally seemed to make a lot of good calls/substitutions. I was amazed that UMass knew Golden goes for the reverse layups and blocked 2 early on. I don't think Golden tried that again. Poor shooting on 3s put Richmond in a hole and good play and coaching kept them there.

I enjoyed this game. I think, based on only two pages, lot of people have stopped watching. Well, I'm still watching, even when it is painful.

A few weeks ago I was thinking McCall was a goner. Now I am hanging in there with him a little longer.

One of our former assistants (under Lappas) once said to me, you guys want it so bad to be back to the Calipari days that it hurts to see you suffer. I agree, it hurts. But, thanks to Youtube, we can watch the 90s games over again and dream of the next bigtime UMass Hoop. Someday it will come.

I like some of what I saw today. Yeah, we lose Holloway very soon. He was a nice asset. We need to recruit, recruit, recruit. No roster spot should be considered safe.

We have a core for next year. Pray for Pip to stay. Keep the faith my friends. Better days ahead. Today was a good day.

They played tonight like they could have/should have been playing in late December - early January: A team with some potential just beginning to round into shape. Here's hoping this continues Saturday and into the tournament next week!

What an unbelievable finish on Senior night for Holloway! Congrats to the big fella. You did to us what you've done all your career which is tease us with your unbelievable potential and what might have been. So great to finish (at home) on the highest of notes with a 28/12 monster performance.

Congrats RH, and a great win for UMass!
