This. Team. Stinks. The offense is a joke. They don’t have a player who can feed the ball into the post. Pipkins has been horrible for a month. They can’t make a shot and yet the coach doesn’t put in a guy like Hayward in who might hit a three or two. This is absolute bullshit. To be honest, this is worse than the worst DK teams.

Watched the whole game. I didn't see too much to be excited about. I did like baptiste's energy and the effort from Cobb. Also, Laurent played well to start the game in my opinion. A bummer to lose the conference opener at home.

I haven’t jumped yet, but I’m almost off the McCall bandwagon. Looks like a bad in-game coach, and looks like he might be on the verge of losing this team.

Totally fucking agree. MM is coaching like a former team manager right now. I can not believe the rotations. Where is Hayward, West? Why is every set a high screen by Holloway or 1:1 ISO by Pip. Can't you manufacture more shots for Pierre? Watch some tape on Jim McCoy and how Calipari got him going, Pierre is that kind of shooter. I haven't given up on this team or MM but this has been a really bad stretch.

This is a bit of a mess across the board. If it’s not the defense, it’s the offense. We have played maybe one or two complete games all year. That’s all I’ve got. Well I have a lot more, but I’ll bite my tongue.

I thought DK was a bad coach. McCall has done nothing to show me he isn’t a bad coach.

Watched the whole game. No cohesion, no clue what to do offensively. This is why I’m watching more and more NBA. Can’t stand watching such bad, inept basketball. McCall has a monumental challenge on his hands.

Couldn't agree more with the team manager comment. Watched all the games this season and the team is getting worse! Why can't MM ever play two bigs at the same time! Take some pressure off of Holloway...

What is going on?

It's too early for me to give an opinion on McCall as a coach. I listened to the post-game interview on my way to the Hangar, and I do appreciate that he takes accountability. No lame excuses. I don't know how this'll get turned around, but I'm hanging in.

Dropped in on 2 or 3 other MBB games this pm. Ours was by far the least watchable game, and we often seemed to have no idea what we were trying to do, in contrast to MSU, Ohio St., St. John's Georgetown. O is all about 3 launch and prayers it would seem. No wonder they are doing deals for $5/seat.

Watching on the tube the Mullins looked like a great facility and there was a big enough crowd today. Couple that with the CC and players should be flocking to UMass to play hoops. The fact that my favorite team has been mediocre to bad for so long is incomprehensible. I'm on the edge/ledge and I never ever thought I would be here.

Eldon, my man, where are you? I need something positive to keep me from going over.

I don't know if this is opinion based on your viewing of the game or insider information. If the latter then the simple answer is to check him out. If Pip is checked out and MM aware then there is no reason to play him. We can lose at home to LaSalle with anyone in the starting 5.

Regardless we need to play him differently to turn this season around. I think a lot of bad habits were formed when MM inherited a team of leftovers and we needed Pip to be a hero ball dominant player because we had such a thin roster. Now we should, at least in theory, have capable depth player and promising freshmen that need a PG that distributes and gets them all involved and excited. We had almost zero open layups, zero rim rocking dunks off back cuts, etc. all game.
