VEGAS GAMES 11/22 &11/23

Post by Berkman » Wed Nov 21, 2018 8:28 pm

My son would like to know if anyone is coming out to the games in Vegas. If you are you can contact him at [email protected]. He would like to hook up with anyone that is going out to the games.

Never knew you had a son Berkman, hope he meets up with some UMass folks and enjoys his time in Vegas.

Minutemen open up as 3.5 points dawgs. Have a feeling tomorrow will be our best played game of the year.

Nevada is 15 points favorites over a 4-0 Tulsa team. So win or lose we should have a good game on Friday.

How many times have I posted here that he has been out there for about 12 years. Works for the MGM mansion. He will be going to the game and would like to hook up with anyone going out for games.

Game preview from the Saluki's athletics site: https://siusalukis.com/news/2018/11/21/ ... g-day.aspx

This game is really hard to predict. Their first game away from home against an unfamiliar opponent, and add onto that that it's their first day game, and on Thanksgiving as well. I hope they're mentally prepared and ready to play. I won't be able to watch since the big dinner is being served at around 1:30, and I won't have any luck trying to commandeer the tv remote while the traditional football games are on.

SIU was favored by 3.5 the last time I looked. I know very little about them but they play very tough D and their 2 losses are to Kentucky and #25 Buffalo.

This is the best team we've played thus far but we can win if we shoot well from 3, rebound and defend. (Sound familiar? )

I have feeling this team will step up in bigger games. Nobody wants to get embarrassed and I believe Pip won't let guys play soft. I have faith that they play together today and win in a close game. Holloway needs to have a solid, complete game

Plus, it's the Continental Tire Holiday Tourney, and I just bought new tires yesterday, and they were coincidentally......... Continental tires.

This is going to be a very close game. I think that UMass pulls it off at the end.

Also, most definitely, the most important game of this short season thus far.

Ya gotta love Luwane’s socks! 8)

Laughing at the the announcer talking about this being an oxygen game...early am, no one in the stands, etc.

Hate to say it, but playing in an empty arena is nothing new for UMass. Sort of a back door home court advantage.
