I think that shows a lot about McCall. He recognizes what West did for the team last year and how he really helped save them from legitimately not having enough bodies to play. Welcoming him back is a wonderful gesture by McCall and a huge thank you to what West contributed to the future of this program.

Randall was on the bench and in the huddles tonight.

They talked about him briefly on the broadcast too... Even joking that he is a heartbeat away from getting snaps vs BYU.

Missed the main part, after they showed him on the bench and mentioned the heartbeat line, they s did a promo for the BYU game!!

Anyone know whether Randall is staying or going? I thought that he was in the spring game, and he is on the current roster online, but there is a picture of him graduating on twitter, and a tweet from a McCormick faculty member saying "Keep in touch!"

He will be a 5th year so he will probably do some graduate school however I doubt it will be in the business or sport management department

^ MM has stated multiple times that his first priority this year is to have players who want to be here and have pride in playing for UMass. Randall is a perfect example of this. Glad to have him back.

^ And here's my vote for him seeing minutes.

Just saw in the local paper that our man Randall has been named the starting QB.

^ Len - My post from the football forum yesterday:

"I am very happy about that. All that I have read suggests that he has been an outstanding leader in two sports on and off the field/court."

He seems to be a really good man. And athlete.
