Here is the article on Easley that got me, and others, thinking that there's a solid chance Easley commits to UMass.

If Easley is indeed going to take an OV to UMass in January, I suspect it will likely come on 1/20 for the Saint Louis game... that's the only home game UMass has in January on a Saturday. The game this weekend doesn't make as much sense for him to visit around because it's at 5pm on Sunday.

First day of classes is 1/22. The kids can move in on Friday if they pay an early return fee. Otherwise they move back in Sunday.

We (Mrs. SM) and I were at the postgame reception in the Champions Center...

As a Letterman, I was welcome in the film room, along with 40+ others, including the returnees, coaches, staff...

Coach spoke and there was some discussion...all positive...
absolutely no issues with anyone coming back re: the game results...Coach addressed it very well...

One comment from a former player I know pretty well re: Coach's comments about this game summed it up ...
"It's part of the process."
Everyone was in agreement.

IMHO, we hired the right Coach and will move ahead...
