Sounds possible that he could be a non-qualifier next year and therefore not use a scholarship, IIRC how that works. We could be a great destination for him, and he sounds like he's gonna be a monster.

He'll be going to Scotland Campus prep in PA this year. A very strong BB program. The name rings a bell with me. We must have been recruiting someone from there.

We just offered Mohamed Wague. A very under the radar prospect. His story reminds me a bit of Steph Lasme.

Perhaps he will be the answer to the question, "Where's the beef?"
(apologies in advance)

FWIW, 2020 verbal Cairo McCrory posted on Twitter that his vertical measured out at 44". Seemed to surprise even him.

Not that we had a chance, but big time New England talent, Matt Cross committed to Miami.

College coaches are back on the road today conducting in-home visits and watching workouts. The Recruiting Period runs through Nov. 10.
I'm not sure if we're done with 2020 yet, but 2021 is more likely. In case you've been caught up in football fever ( :( :( :( ), we're already 1 over the limit for 2020 so someone besides Djery is leaving. Not out of the question that we pick up 1 more for 2020, perhaps a big since our 2 most likely losses are Djery and KTM (due to his injuries).

So far we have McCrory at 6'5 and Walker at 6'7 so if we pick up 1 more that means a 3rd player will be gone. I honestly hope it's no more than that. I'd like to see a couple of years without a lot of turnover.

The staff is still actively recruiting a big(had a 7 footer in last week) and they are also after a true pg.
figuring out how they are going to do it at this point is speculative unless you have talked to the staff directly (I haven’t about this) and this staff might not be as forthcoming as the last staff who told us that Pipkins was going to leave after his junior year in the fall of his sophomore year. I will just add, with no information at all, that Carl would be a piece that most HM’s would want to add and with the amount summer school he has gone to he is probably lined up to graduate in the spring of summer of 2020. He seems to like it here but those scholarships have to come from somewhere.

A true point guard? So what are Sean East and Kolton Mitchell?

While we're on the subject of recruiting 2020 point guards, Ed, this one's for you. Keep your fingers and toes crossed because the sign imagination meter will go way up.

UMass will be making a trip to Toronto in the next week to keep tabs on Kobe Elvis after a tremendous summer on the circuit and at NCAA Camp

We need a PG for the future, and Kobe Elvis can definitely become that guy for us.

Plus, that’s a hell of a name!

Well you can cross one potential 2020 pg off the list as Isaiah Wilson just commited to Richmond.
