How do you want the trophy engraved?
I know you love to respond to everything I say

Saying that the Mitchell twins committing to URI will irk Ousmane, causing uncertainty in his commitment is dumb shit.. and yet it happened.

Don’t be so sensitive, it’s bad for the soul.

I don’t think you understand why I’m mildly annoyed. It’s totally cool that you may be right about Ousmane — I thought URI would probably not go that route (and we don’t know for sure that’s happened but appears that way). I have no problem saying I’m wrong.

It’s just odd to me to come back into a thread and say “I called that” makes it seem like you do want a trophy.

After watching(limited) some of DeGray he seems to be McCalls perfect 4. He has the body type and similar game to Horford. Not super athletes, but seem crafty and can score. Bigger bodies that can bang but also shoot 3's. My only fear, but I guess its college BB these days, if we sign him we will lose at least 2 wings to transfer next year.

I’ve called a couple of things ya know, but the 1 time I say “called it”, you got upset. Jeez, the sensitivity, let it go.. let someone have their day.

Quick fun notes on DeGray to add to the fire:

1) My favorite: for a man his size he uses both hands incredibly well, can finish with the left and right.
2) Will he undersized as a 4, but has the right IQ to know when to take charges.
3) Can spread the floor not causing Tre to be double teamed down low.

4) Rebounding will continue to be an issue, but it has to be addressed in practice, fundamental boxing out from the entire team, not just the big men.
5) I hope that he doesn’t settle as being a perimeter player, his presence will he needed down low, and his post game is not ready for the next level yet.
6) Strength & conditioning will help a lot as his quickness needs improvement; will be key as he has the right sense of where to be on the court for an efficient result.

I think we have different definitions of the word sensitivity, Scoop. My feelings aren’t hurt, I’m not losing sleep, it doesn’t bother me outside of coming in here and being annoyed when I see it (and even then it’s mild annoyance but enough so that I post a response I guess).

But you’re right I should let it go and let you have your day I guess. Not quite sure what that entails but enjoy!

As for DeGray if he is the guy, I think he provides a little more heft up front, looks pretty skilled and if he can shoot like it sounds then I would dig it. All of other forwards don’t bring much in terms of bulk.

Not sure how he fits athletically in terms of pressing — but I guess he played at Woodstock and the coaches would have a good idea how he would fit and also how much they really intend to press.

Jackson, is the trophy called "the Jackson" and, if so, is this post stupid enough to get one? I like shiny things. :D

I love that we have two incoming transfers who tweeted out, "I'm coming home!" That kind of attitude is probably just as important as physical abilities. Guys who really want to be hear, to represent the U.

I guess my only question about DeGray is if he is so talented that many think he would be the instant starter... why is his recruitment so light??

Not sure if it has any significance, but there is still room for DeGray.

His recruiting is hard to figure. He had lots of offers in 2019 but he didn't get any other "good" offers after he went back to Woodstock for a post grad year. Some of his 2019 offers were:
Missouri
Arkansas
Nebraska
OK State
Tulane
Washington State

Not a lot of positivity! Relax 😉
