East sounds like he has the feel of a point guard. Mitchell sounds a little further behind offensively, but McCall has brought up his defense a couple of times this offseason — not sure if it’s on the ball defense or just in general.

No idea if Garcia can play the point — I generally hear the word term combo guard and I think someone who can give a few minutes to running things, but overall is probably better playing off ball.

Just a reminder: National Signing period runs from 11/13-11/20. If both McCrory and Garcia sign, someone besides Djery is leaving. We need another "big" for next year. If 3 sign, do the math! :D

I'm guessing Keon grad transfers.

Hope not. He is a great defender and plays with such intensity. He’s also a Florida guy and I think he and McCall might have a good connection. Add in his experience and the fact that we want a program made up of guys who finish their college careers as Minutemen. I absolutely HATE the grad transfer rule (it has really damaged college hoops for me), so I know the realty, but we should all hope for guys who play for the jersey and aim to have it hanging in the rafters.

I agree you with but they don't fill the spot without knowing someone is moving on. He is the most likely candidate. He probably already informed the staff and that's why they signed another guy.

^Maybe two, and through. I believe he will take the time to mature. He has skills, just needs development.

As of now, we have ZERO bigs committed. We will need Tre for 2 years minimum unless we get very lucky with a recruit.

People here get super excited when a player is a Top 100 and after three games think they have evolved into one of the best 11 freshman in the country ( number of first round NBA picks- 2019)

ABSOLUTELY NO DISRESPECT to TM, but he is not an NBA player at this point.

IMHO Tre will be here four years. He needs time to develop his body and his game.

So... we've gone from hoping they can hang with Northeastern to our guys being one and done. This should be called the Bipolar UMass hoops board

Somewhere in the middle fellas
