Looks like a good player and an explosive athlete. We could use the maturity and experience. Looks like he can play the 2 or 3. Could sell him on a great chance to start right away and being a team leader out of the gate.
I guess he would be the Laurent replacement

I would be happy if they added two point guards but if they only add one (which seems likely) then Clergeot will manning the spot for some minutes. Not ideal as I don’t think he is a point guard at all, but I think having Mitchell who is supposed to be a good passer could mitigate that a bit if they run the offense through him.

With the way the game has been heading, I don’t think you can have too many wings or too much shooting. No idea if Miller-Moore can shoot but It sounds like he could help right away with his defense and driving.

And if the plan is to press (something we have been hearing for years now but maybe it happens with Bergeron coming onboard) then having a bunch of bodies like Diallo/Pierre/Miller-Moore/Santos/Weeks on the wing is a good thing. And if they want to switch everything in the half court, then having all these guys is an even better thing.

Then you have Mitchell/Baptiste/KTM as your bigger bigs, Chatman/Maidoh (if he commits) as your smaller bigs. Your guards are Keon/Point Guard X (hopefully Adams-Woods)/Buggs. Not everyone is gonna play but it seems like a sound setup.

Anyways the three dudes I want (if we aren’t getting two point guards) are Adams-Woods (or that Brown kid), Miller-Moore, and Maidoh. I say this based on not very much. That seems to be the hip thing to do and I’m nothing if not hip.
I would like DeGray over Maidoh

I don’t really know enough about either guy to have a strong preference. Maidoh sounds like he brings a shooting/shot blocking combo we don’t really have (Chatman has it to an extent I think) and sounds like he would be a good fit upfront if he develops.

Yeah I know what their strengths/roles are supposed to be — I guess I meant I don’t know enough about how good either kid is (or is supposed to be.) I know what I’ve read and the short highlights I’ve seen, but I don’t have a real good feel. Not enough to have a strong preference at least.

That article states that Lucious Jordan is an assistant. Moving guys from Ops to coach.
I saw that and thought it was maybe just an assumption someone made...Perhaps LJ is filling in until new staff is official, or maybe he has been elevated and not announced as yet.
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

Offseason said earlier that Jordan will be an assistant, so I assumed it to be true.

DeGray looks like a better player to me. Love his ball handling and scoring ability.

I agree he is a better player but he would be another wing. Not sure we need that if we also get Sean Miller Moore

I have no capability in assessing a players relative talent and upside but philosophically if players are similar talents then take the one that is in a position of greater need. But if one player is clearly higher level than another always take the talent regardless of position.

I think the staff has to weigh a lot of different things: talent, skill, room for growth, culture fit, program needs, relationship with the player’s AAU/high school programs and probably a few other things I’m not thinking of.

Also I think it’s really hard to determine who is a better player based on a couple of minutes of highlight videos...not that that has ever stopped anyone before.
