Refer back to TheOFFseasons original post a few pages back and that will help answer your question whether or not the issue is still here.

^Maybe I'm missing something but I can't say that his original post sheds any light on my question.

Not obsessed with him at all-just curious/concerned that he saw an issue here that could still exist and present a problem in the future.

^Exactly my point. He said he never had a problem with Kelsey and mention later that he might have done the same thing if presented with whatever led to Kelsey backing out. My question is what did Kelsey see that caused him to bail? Was it a UMass thing that still exists?

Edit-Or are you saying he bailed because of Jerrau?

You asked if the problems were still here. OFFseason referred to Jarreau. I think it can be concluded that Jarreau was the problem and is no longer here. But like you said in your original post, who cares in the end.

^ Why yell? I love Pat Kelsey. Without his douchebag move we wouldn't have MM. :)

^ Agreed. I look at Kelsey the same way I looked at Mariano Rivera after the '04 World Series. I hate you but if you didn't choke we wouldn't be where we're at.

^ One major difference being the class of Mariano Rivera. Hate him or not, when he tipped his cap on opening day at Fenway in '05, even the most die hard Red Sox fans came away respecting the man's class and humility.

I doubt the day will come that UMass fans will say that about Mr. Kelsey, who showed neither class nor humility in his ungraceful exit from UMass.

Since I know some of you are a little grudgy, I'll inform you that Pat Kelsey and Wintrop are out of the Big South Tournament and thus not going to the NCAAs

This was a weird tweet from Matt. Seemed to satisfy some of his own grudges as well. Which is fine, just don't project on the fanbase.
