But I will give him credit, he is a solid recruiter.

He's a very good recruiter and he showed that here not only with the guys he got over his 9 years, but also the guys he was in play with that ultimately ended up elsewhere. What he also showed is that he struggled coaching that talent, and that's why he is no longer here. The guy can flat out recruit.

What year did he graduate from the U?
How many games did he play for the U?
How many awards did he win while playing for the U?
How many coaching jobs above the 8th grade level has he held?
And, the one that seems to stick in his craw more than any other...How much has he made in the last fifteen years?!

DK will do just fine moving forward regardless of what some UMass fans want to believe about his abilities.

Eh, I'd prefer not to get in the middle of the cat fight you two are waging all over this message board. I have more than enough of those going on myself, no need to get into the mix with yours.

Cat fight all over this message board?

You must be thinking of someone other than myself. I can count on one hand the number of times I have responded to Eldon's jabs.

IV, you say you don't want to get into a catfish here, but in the other thread you are dissing Santa?

I have no idea what you're talking about. What does a catfish have to do with anything?

I agree - I think DK will do just fine as well. Not sure what those other questions have to do with anything about my fandom or knowledge of the game? The mere fact that you spout this off is a sign of your own love of your buddy DK. Hopefully he learned some lessons here and he can apply them again at another school someday.

Does your hair get messed up a lot - I assume it is very windy on top of those very high perches you sit yourself on?

DK will do just fine. He's got the buy out from UMass. If he doesn't get another coaching gig, he'll end up as a color commentator on ESPN or another sports network.

TCU MBB assistant Ryan Miller has strong ties to open New Mexico job. If hired, he'd bring former UMass coach Derek Kellogg, per source.
What is he gonna do?

In that role he will not be overseeing the program which will allow him to learn and see things from a different point of view. Sometimes you have to separate yourself from something, reflect and you can build on what you were dong right and improve in what you were doing wrong.

Are you kidding me that would be hi-fucking-larious if he makes any comments remotely similar to the stuff he was feeding to the fish wraps.....

DK would be a refreshing change from that Emotionless toolbox Jarvis (when he was on ASN).

Nothing about DK ever suggested to me he'd be a good commentator of any kind.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe he already has some experience in this role. I remember him doing a very good job.
