with the way regulation ended, 9 out of 10 teams lose this game. VERY happy with the way we played in OT and that will help down the season. lots to fix up heading into ND and FSU, but a win is a win....3-0 guys....3-0.

There's no way that should have ended as a nine point win.

If DG leads the country in free throw percentage, that will be the greatest comeback since a good yo momma joke.

There's something to be said for winning ugly. Lots of stuff needs to improve, but character and toughness are not on that list of stuff.

So frustrating throughout but in the end, another W.

Amazed we are 3-0. 27-29 at the line will do that. WOW!

We are 3-0, yet there is a ton of work to be done for this team to become a really good team.

Cady was great today, DG does whatever it takes to win, and I really like what I am seeing from Hinds. Trey also came around in the second half, and Maxie was Maxie. ANd Berger was great in the overtime.

What I don't like: We still have a hard time getting the ball inbounds and defending inbounds plays. Our halfcourt offense is the same as it has been for the last 5 years -- really bad. And, we still have too many turnovers.

I am also concerned about the bench. Other than Hinds and Clark, I have seen nothing. Dyson should be the last man of the bench, and Coleman has shown nothing the first three games. My biggest concern is Bergantino. Seems to me he has taken a step backwards. He doesn't grab rebounds and loses a lot of balls. We need more out of him.

I am hoping they can steal a win this weekend, but it is going to be extremely difficult without getting a lot more from the bench. FYI, Gordon is shooting close to 90 percent from the line!

Wow we only missed 2 FT's the entire game :D DG has found his stroke from the FT line. And I was really impressed with Cady. Man, he hit some clutch FT's at the end of the game and in OT. Lucky to get the win, but I'll take it. Manhattan looks like a quality team this year. 3-0 BABY!!!

I had a bunch of people in my office watching the last minute of regulation and overtime. Needless to say they were horrified and then happy for me. hahaha.

Well 3-0 is 3-0. Still a lot of things to work on, but it's nice to win while learning. Also, these are quality opponents for 3 games in 5 days. If you schedule hard, these are some of the games you're going to get.

Huge game by Cady. I'm one of the ones who got on him sometimes last year, but credit to him for being an absolute force today. He has such a great touch from the line for a big guy too.

Great 2nd half and OT by DG. Great defense, great FT shooting. Can't say enough about the amount of confidence he's playing with.

Talk about up and down for Seth. One play he's making a great defensive stop in the what we thought to be "deciding" possession. Next he carelessly throws the ball away on an inbounds pass. Then in OT when the game was still 65-63, he comes in with a huge tip in on offense. Great to see a new face doing so much at then end of games though.

Jabarie/Trey - Woof. Aside from the 3 from Trey to put the team up 2 in the 2nd half, there isn't much else to get excited about. Careless ballhandling by both.

Maxie - Good game, solid effort. He's becoming one of my favorite Umass players of all time. Good to see the team not lose their shit when he took that extended break at the end of the 1st.

Great FT shooting, great character coming back after what had to be a very deflating moment at the end of regulation. All the while doing it without your best player in the early going.

Careless passing, no sense of urgency at times. I'm sure any one of us could go back to some of the game threads from last year and just copy/paste it onto some of our games this season.

3-0 is 3-0.

So what I'm hearing is that the game was on today and not tonight, right?

One last thought: I think we won because frigging Masiello thought the game was over when they got the dunk at the buzzer, as did some of their players. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

With the schedule the way it has been, I am surprised we don't play tomorrow

So this is how this team is going to be this year? Get your nitro pills ready. "I'm coming to see you Elizabeth!"

I thought the Siena cover was a gift and then we get this 5 days later with a nice BC covered mixed in. Add in 3 2nd half bets and we have a 6-0 record, covering machines with the ft's at the end. I might be buying some rounds at mohegan.
