I like that the coach points the finger and takes the blame from the Hartford loss towards himself.
It would have been easy to blame the officials, the team's youth and inexperience, he wind in his face, or a plethora of other things. Instead he came right out and said he did the wrong thing.
More finger pointing
There was also an article in todays (thursday) S'fld paper about the same thing so it seems like fair game. I was grousing about Lappas taking some personal responsibilty the other day, so it's a good thing to see this. I caught the post blasting e. before you deleted it, and no he didn't deserve that. The players aren't the only ones who can learn from experience, I took it to be a good step for Lappas, even if I partially disagree with what the lesson was about.

A trend?
It may be reading too much into a quote but I liked to hear AA say that we practiced all week "on driving and kicking the ball out" (springfield republican). This, to me, is a change from the gruesome passing around the arc till the shot clock is about to expire. We can use AAs senior leadership and savvy to draw the defense and open up shots. Keep up the good work.
I'm just a simple ordinary run o' the mill fan so I predict a UMass win over BC. Hmm, 76-69.
