Fenway, they fouled in a tie game on the road as part of strategy. Agree or disagree, that was planned.

The other stuff was mental errors. None of the Auburn players came back to receive the inbounds pass, which was absolutely ridiculous and, to me, shows that Barbee doesn't have ANY players who want the ball in their hands at the end of a game. Watch the replay, and none of the players help out the inbounder. What an absolute joke.

No way that foul was planned by Tony. Auburn made the first ft to tie the game and missed the 2nd, the auburn player made a mistake and thought they were still losing and had to foul. If tony did call for a foul there, he should be fired, but there's no way he wanted a foul, look at the reaction of the other auburn players.

Great read following up on the end of the Auburn-Florida game from last season. I have been a fan of fouling in some similar situations in the past. Obviously this did not work out for Auburn, but the strategy is probably mathematically solid.

Is this even news? Probably not, but I'm posting it anyway.

Wondering if there may be a head coach role down the road that would peel him away from Lexington. I don't see him leaving UK to take a job at a small / mid-major, and it didn't work out in the SEC with Auburn.

I still can't believe that GT hired Pastner away from Memphis. The only reason Pastner was still at Memphis was his huge buyout. But instead of paying something like a $10M buyout to get rid of Pastner, Memphis is actually going to get paid $500k. Crazy.
