KAEO: Jayden Njidgue
KAEO: Jayden Njidgue
Kid deserves his own thread. You can tell he is a special type of player already. Does sooo many winning things already and has flashed some nice things offensively. Absolute dog on defense.
Does he have a deal with MassCollective? If not, I think we need to lock this man into something soon. Which I know they are busting their ass to help the program.

Jayden now on board.
I posted a while back that the Collective signaled their prime candidates when they featured certain guys pictures in their twitter posts. We NEED the one not signed - mcsnipes33!

Re: UMass transfer portal news - 2024
Awesome news. Jayden is a worker and has such potential. Instant fan favorite with his style of play and a local guy too. Things are starting to round into form, fingers crossed for Matt and Rahsool.

He's the glue guy and we need a nickname for him. Elmer doesn't work so any other suggestions?

Best freshman surprise since Carl Pierre? I mean, this guy was the glue for the team, great basketball IQ knowing where to be on the court at all times, passes are spot on to where the players want to catch the ball right away and giving them the best opportunity to score. I hope he stays at UMass all 4 years, really special player. He's locked down on the defensive end. He needs to improve offensively but you did notice as the season went on, he became more comfortable on offense. And most of all, he's already there mentally which is huge. Definitely deserving of the NIL

Could see him as a successful coach too, if he wants to pursue it.inthescoop wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2024 7:48 pm Best freshman surprise since Carl Pierre? I'm getting way ahead of myself, but I like the idea of cultivating people like this to hopefully/possibly be a coach here one day.
