Aaaaaahhhh, NO.
These schools sell because they WIN!

There's a few things I'm getting really sick of reading on this site in regards to this whole mascot thing: If we win, they will come....Guess what, plenty of schools sell more merchandise than we do when they aren't winning. Name a few for us. Please, just throw out a few off the top of your head....

I don't know if I'm an "old timer" but when it happened it pointed out to me that white guys lived longer than indians :!:

Mr. C, very good post. I am in total agreement. After attending the lax game yesterday it is more evident to me than ever that fans will support UMass if they have coaches who can recruit and teach their players to win games. It rained all day yesterday yet a very good lax team won an exciting game ...

Raheim Lamb is a good basketball player. Just because he couldn't play for Steve Lappas does not mean that he couldn't compete at the D1 level. He went to Lowell for the reasons bdance stated and because his credits would transfer. NOT because he was looking for easier competition.

Re: You're crazy if you want Lappas gone!

If you have five years with a complete loser like Bruiser Flint it takes a while to recover. We fired that bum because he couldn't teach, coach or recruit so why would anyone expect that the rejects that he brought to UMass would be worth a damn, even in the hands of a coach like Lappas? Lappas is ...

Not a bad turnout considering our record over the last two years. Rogers and Cox were not there. Jackie was at a funeral and Marcus was at a wedding. Lamb wasn't there but I don't think anyone expected him to be in attendance. I know I didn't! McCaw wasn't there either. Something to do with his prio...
