Abysmal teaching of history indeed. Let's add another 120 points to everyone's SAT score to cover it up.

I wouldn't know where to find out how much money Sparky brings in, and I don't care. Up here, Sparky's a joke. And offensive. And I think Sparky's a he, so he's sexist to boot. Don't even get me started on the bias against clouds and rain. They should commission a study to cram a change down, er, I ...

Used to be VOR wrote: I think Jeff Krohn (our quarterback from Arizona) said it best in his quote in the article in the newspaper. "Away from here, our name is a joke."
But Sparky the Sun Devil, that's a serious mascot.

George W. McCaw did a nice job of changing the discussion from whether or not to change the mascot into a discussion of which 'Gray Wolf' logo to use. Process my arse, he made up his mind and he's doing it.

Did I? I don't think so, that wasn't the intent at least. But I'm glad we've established that you can dish out cheap shots, but can't take them in return.

The word of the day is "schadenfreude". Word on the street is that Ewan himself also partakes.

Unfortunately I'm not sure about that interpretation Lopes. IU still has two slots to fill. They seem desperate for size. Ewing at 6-8 partly fills it. Presumably one of the two remaining would be a big guy too. But they also need a scorer (who doesn't). I'd say Maxwell is still up in the air.

I hope you're right Phil. And Joker, what is this "If he makes enough money to retire" foolishness? He's in year 5 of a 6 year 39 million dollar contract, I think he'll get by. This isn't about money, it's about education. The guy seems bright, he can do alot better than simply retire. Get...

Didn't he also say he was going to complete his degree on that date? How's that coming along? What's the over/under on the number of credits he's completed since leaving town?

And looked at that necklace! Sweet!!!

I'm partial to the UMass Landlocked Salmon. They have a ton of them nearby in the Quabbin. Plus it's gender-neutral.

So Maxwell reads the Providence Journal, and makes career decisions based on it? Maybe, but I doubt it.

Screw Mike Davis and the horse he rode in on. (Major edit job, in case km is right).

More competitive? You knew he was going to Div 2 so he wouldn't lose a year and get to play right away. UMass-Lowell is close to home, and ranked in the top 10:

Sounds perfect for him.

MrMiagi is one of the few posters trying to stay positive, and so-called fans are bashing him for it? That's appalling. Keep up the good work MrM.
