Re: KAEO Zach Lewis
I think this kid is going to be pretty good and add a lot of depth to our guard rotation. This team on paper looks balanced and pretty deep with good talent. Could be a very fun and enjoyable season with all these talented newcomers joining the returning guys. Pretty excited to watch some UMass bas...

If you put Travis Ford and Derek Kellogg in a wrestling ring for a steel cage match, who wins?

I'm alum of both UMs. Bigger UMass fan than Michigan for hoops and bigger Michigan fan than UMass when it comes to football. Can't beat the experience of a 1990-94 Cage/Mullins and a Big House football game to become an eternal fan of both.

The "Order My Gear" site is still up. So professional looking. Even has an "aol.com" email at the bottom.
Big letdown, athletic department. Boo.

Re: 2016-17 Season
^ I like the analysis but not sure you can take away that this year's team is significantly better. There are so many unknowns: 1) Just how good are the freshmen? 2) Lewis? Overrated or secret weapon? 3) How important is "game experience"? Returning guys comprise about 52% of last years to...

Re: 2016-17 Season
I generally understand why players professional and college level (and even some high school) are doing their kneeling, standing, fists, etc. The problem I have with it is not the action but what goes behind it. Change comes not from those who raise their arms or protest, but from people who bring s...

Re: 2016-17 Season
I notice that we begin our season on 11/11 vs. Umass-Lowell. In the past few years, we've always had some time of "exhibition" whether it was the Aug 2015 trip to France or the "American International" game the few years before that. Does anyone know if we may see an exhibition g...

Peeked at the Umass Athletics website Shop. Now there is a message that "All items as shown will have a UMass logo along with the word ATHLETICS. Every item shown is also available with any UMass individual sport. Please click on the apparel item of choice and then select the sport from the box...

Went to the "Store" and looks like it links to one of those "do it yourself" logos on clothing 3rd party sites. Looks pretty weak in terms of selection and quality. Worse than before. Still waiting on football and basketball jerseys.

I think its safe to say Mullins is a pretty tough place to play when its full and the crowd is into it. Like this:

Re: KAEO Brison Gresham (2016)
Murphy's law strikes again. Wasn't there an article touting how we have everyone healthy at practice last week? Stress fractures are tricky - have to really limit the force applies to the joint, even when it comes to daily activities of living. Will be tough for him to keep in shape being sidelined ...

Re: Ricky Harris: Post-UMass
Watched a little in yesterday's game - The Untouchables were up by 11 early but the City of Gods were up 1 with 36 seconds left and pulled out the win. Ricky had a very nice game, and it was great to see him continue to play well.
