Re: 2024 Recruiting
Nice to see the verbal from OT Andre Weeks II out of St. Francis in Maryland. Our staff seems to be doing an excellent job recruiting across a variety of positions. Recruiting, Developing and Retaining OL talent has been and will remain a focal point of becoming a better and more consistent football...

Re: Isaiah Rodgers
Looks like Isaiah Rodgers is headed for a long term NFL suspension for gambling on the NFL. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/06/05/isaiah-rodgers-issues-statement-on-gambling-investigation-i-made-an-error-in-judgment/ https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/37802067/nfl-investigating-colts-pla...

Re: https://umassathletics.com/ Issue
umassathletics.com was easily accessible for me.
Unfortunately that meant that I could easily see that it hasn't been a good spring for UMass Athletics.

Re: 2023 Season
I'd rather watch a double header at Harvard Stadium: Harvard v. Yale followed by UMass v. ucon.Camby4Life wrote: ↑Sat May 06, 2023 10:49 am Screw having more Fenway games and lining the pockets of Dr. Creepy. I’d rather watch Umass play at Nickerson Field or the field in Eastie near the airport.

Re: Coach Mike Leflar
Seems like a ton of movement around the Minutewomen program. Was this all to be expected? One would've hoped that Bamford has a plan in place to continuously develop and improve the WBB program. You'd think that Coach Leflar is the key to that plan - to bring some continuity and stability to the pro...

Re: POLL: What would you choose for UMass football?
Yes, when your AD is allowed to foolishly hire an assistant coach as a rookie HC to take over a program that had just been to the final 4 in '96 ... your basketball program slides into obscurity, multiple coaches come and go and you wind up 25 yrs later stuck as an A10 bottom feeder in basketball.....

Re: The Massachusetts Collective - NIL initiative
Unless controls are put in place - similar to a salary cap for NIL - there will be a limited number of "college" programs that will ever be competitive in D1 Athletics. Interest will fall off accordingly. Second time in a month I 100% agree with you Jack! Lets find some common ground on F...

Re: Coach Frank Martin
That's hardly the point anyone was making, and since you referenced my comment I responded. Seems like you have a problem with what others think, and I don't really give a fuck I have no problem w/what you or anybody else thinks. I simply disagree. Is disagreeing w/your view a problem? Tell me what...

Re: 2023 Season
Until we have an OLine somewhat in place then I don't see much reason to be predicting any wins. Need to be able to run the ball and protect the QB. Let me know if you think we will be able to do either of those things. Jack, welcome back to the land of realistic takes. E, your feet are planted fir...

Re: Coach Frank Martin
Don't think anybody was critiquing his coaching. IV mentioned that it's not a good look when they're getting blown out and he's just sitting there , arms folded, pissed off. Some people agree that's not changing anything. Sorry you don't agree, but whatever I happen to be a supporter of him being h...

Re: Pitino...
Rick will likely be the best available HC this cycle. So glad that we didn't dump McCall and hire Pitino in 2018..... We'd likely still be playing. It'll be interesting to see if St. John's fires Anderson and comes calling. Was surprised that one (1) Catholic school would hire someone with P...

Re: Coach Frank Martin
... apparently some here are more interested in the coach's body language than anything else and have decided that Frank should always be happy and positive regardless of how badly the team is performing. How dare Frank not be a happy loser, he should've grabbed some pom poms to demonstrate his lea...
