Well I for one am very saddened by the Loss of Gabe Lee. I think he gave us a certain spark and I also think he did a lot that didn't show up on the stat sheet. He altered a lot of shots simply with his presence because shooters wouldn't take certain shots if Gabe was there. I'll miss him and I thi...

as i thought he would, lappas stays, although i am less than thrilled by the way it was done. if it was lappas' suggestion to rework his contract, props to him, but it should not have been made public. that puts too much pressure on the players who will worry that every loss means less gorceries on ...

... The weren't coached though! Wow. And I'm not mad because his opinion is different than mine. I'm mad because he states things with no facts. Tell me, how did the team get better? They went 1-9 in their last ten I believe. Sorry if that's not exact, but it's close. I don't get how you can say the...

First of all m626t, you are nuts. Please don't post here anymore. They got better in talent, but they didn't get better because of coaching. And to Philosopher, the coaching staff does look on here. They may not post, but they certainly do read. first of all, blow me; no forget that... second of al...

i've been to every home game and watched every available tv away game. to me, it seemed that at times they were not physically strong enough to fight through picks, or were too tired to cover the perimiter properly, leaving shooters open for threes, but i never felt they were just going through the ...

i've said it before and i'll do so again. Steve Lappas deserves another year...the kids got better, the games were close and next year the bench will actually be viable. except for Anthony, these are all players he brought in. they all play hard for him and he deserves to be here when they turn it a...

i remember talk going around back then that he resigned because of lack of support from the school's admin; no budget to recruit, poor facilities and no way to be competitive with the other teams in the EBL, Eastern 8 or whatever it was at the time.... as usual, he proved to be correct.

Very sad time for the UMass family. I met Jack only once, many years ago at a local high school game where he and Ray Wilson were looking at a player. I sat with them for a quarter and enjoyed a great conversation. Since then, whenever I bumped into him on some rare occasion, he would smile and say ...
